Financial Information and Assistance

Most major insurance covers the PROVENGE therapy, but there may be additional copays and deductibles that you will be responsible for covering. There are several cancer foundations that offer grants to cover these extra out of pocket costs. The staff at the infusion therapy center will identify these foundations and send in applications for grants on your behalf. We have had great success working with the cancer foundations to cover extra costs for our patients.

Your Support Network

Chesapeake Urology’s infusion therapy center offers a full support network. Many of our patients benefit greatly from talking to other men going through the same, or similar, experiences. Our center can provide you access to:

• Patient-to-patient support
• Chesapeake Urology’s recovery coach, a former prostate cancer patient who understands the special needs of men living with prostate cancer
• Spouse and caregiver support
